Logo design is one part of that. Without the full system around it, you're starting from scratch every time you need to make something. With it, the brand builds itself.

Strategy comes first. My practice is built around brand experience design — which means the thinking has to precede the making. Before anything is designed, I work through five upstream questions: who you are, who you're for, what problem you solve, what makes you different, and how you want to be positioned. The design that follows isn't decoration — it's the expression of decisions already made. That's what separates a brand experience designer from someone who just makes logos.

Yes, though my primary focus is brand identity and strategy. My freelance design practice covers web design as part of a broader brand engagement — I work in Framer and Figma, and I take on two types of web projects: full brand-to-web builds for clients going through a complete rebrand, and web audits and refreshes for businesses whose site needs to catch up to where the brand already is.

I offer a focused audit of your UI and UX: what's working, what isn't, and why. From there I can either hand you a clear roadmap or execute a refresh that brings the site in line with your brand without starting from zero.

Every engagement starts with a discovery phase — stakeholder conversations, category research, and understanding where the brand currently sits versus where it needs to go. From there: strategy and positioning, then creative direction, then identity design, then rollout and handoff. The process is structured because the decisions build on each other. Skipping steps is where brands go wrong.
